Why would you search chess.com expecting to find bug fixes for scid?
performance.bin omissions?

notmtwain, thanks for the warm welcome. i noticed there are quite a few topics concerning scid on the chess.com forums, i apologize for thinking i could get some help here.

That's okay.

hi!
total newbie here. forgive me if this has already been dealt with but searching the forums for "performance.bin" doesn't work...
i'm using scid and the larger performance.bin book (from http://scid.sourceforge.net/download.html). i've noticed after 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 there are no moves (see the book window). then after Nc6, moves start to appear again (Bb5, Nf6, etc.)
this can also be seen when using this book with automated annotation. "last book move" appears after 2. Nf3.
as i said, i'm a newbie here, but this seems like a bug, corruption or omission in the performance.bin file. i have not seen it in the smaller performance.bin file or other books i've tried like komodo.bin. am i missing something?
thanks,
ryan
