I believe the pirc defense is the best opening for black against anything. it's not that popular. what are your thoughts on it?

If someone wants to play the Pirc, let them play. I always feel comfortable playing against it as white. That's not to say others don't have trouble against it of course. That's just my view.

It's statistically suboptimal so it's not and I'm very sad becouse I used to play it
