Best if he just stick to collecting stamps, lol.
Playing against the Queen's Indian as White

In general, we can't survive without our ego, which is basically the pattern that our personality takes to suit different conditions or environments. However, quite a lot of people are probably a bit insecure or something and that can lead to emotional tension, which can often lead to misinterpreting what others are saying. For instance, I never even hinted that I think I have a better understanding of openings than Kasparov and to imagine that I did is probably a sort of mixture of wanting to put words in other people's mouths to suit your own "ego" and genuinely failing to understand what's being said, because wherever there's anger, that causes a person's mind to work less well.
Basically, there is a number of people here on this thread who can loosely be called trolls, and you're sort of aligned with them, somehow. It all started because one person is genuinely mentally ill, so it seems. So you're welcome to discuss anything with me if you want and if I want but it's best to drop the attitude problem if you want to do so.
Nobody cares sir. More you talk, the more pathetic you sound. Inane rambling idiocy, stroking your own ego. Bubbling with repressed anger. Declaring people you don't know as idiots, imbeciles etc. And while you scorn and mock people with mental illness... remember you or a family member might get such? Given that you are quite elderly, this is quite likely.
Do you see what we have to put up with? He was here a year ago and was attacking everybody left right and centre. Eventually I think he was removed and the sooner it happens again the better. He's just a madman.
MODS!!!!
Mods indeed. Anger is making your mind function less well, lol. No, I have never been removed. And you are the one attacking people. Behaving like a madman, lol. Just go away.

Don't worry guys. @Optimissed is reported, along with a lengthy description of his insults and mocking of mental illness, along with racism and verbal abuse. A nasty bit of work. But he will be gone soon, fingers crossed... he was muted this week, so they know him well.

I was muted for 24 hours max and there was no reason for it at all. I have never been impolite to others recently at any rate and I am not being impolite to you. I am simply saying what is true, that you are mentally ill, and that if you weren't removed by the mods a year ago when a lot of people were calling for your removal then you probably should have been but perhaps you removed yourself and had a nice stay is a quiet room somewhere? Now, this isn't getting us anywhere. You're trying your best to make me angry for some reason. Last time you did it to a lot of other people but not to me. I can't help admitting to a feeling of impotency because the mods seem so useless. If it was up to me you would be straight out of here. Because you are toxic and people leave because of you.
Look... you are describing yourself? Whatever I did or said is irrelevant. Because I have had treatment and am more stable. You have been repeatedly muted for abuse, insult and racism. Anger is bubbling from you in a frightening way. Please go away and get help.
Guys, please... this is a CHESS WEBSITE! Stop bantering! This thread was set up to talk about the Queen's Indian defense and other related chess openings! If you want to do this go set up a thread elsewhere. Can we put this behind us?
It's an interesting weapon. I think that black has to watch out for basic tactics on the long diagonal, but otherwise I think Black will have a good bishop, more active than when the pawn is on c4.
Note that I have done no research on this yet, my opinion may change soon.

Talking about the ...b5 line.

But black can easily block the diagonal by putting a piece on c6, or moving d5... And the knight on f3 can't really threaten anything, can it? So I think tactics can be avoided in the line.
Yeah... like I said, I think Black can avoid any tactical issues, but what's the best way to do that? Nc6, Bc6, c6, and d5 all seem reasonable (although I probably wouldn't play Bc6 as it's pretty active on b5).
If white plays Nc3, then Bb5 has to move to Bc6.
Maybe you can play it to a6, it's still active on the a6-f1 diagonal due to the absence of the c4-pawn

Why play a6 QueensIndian anyway? When I, rarely, have played QID I just put the bishop on b7, classic style. And keep there, waiting for opportunity.
Yes, I forgot about that, I'm sorry. What I mean to say is, d5 would be better for white if the Queen is on d1 than on c2.

Because b7 fianchetto is more subtle? Keep the bishop tucked away... and as the game draws on will become stronger, aimed at opponents king. And Capablanca played such.

It makes me want to play the queen's indian again. It's just that sooner or later they might realise that 4. Ba6 is weak against g3.
What's next? You'll tell us you don't play the Najdorf anymore because you're afraid one day they might figure out 6.Be3 is weak?
I'm sure all the super GMs are just dying to get a hold of your analysis.
