Playing against the Two Knights Tango

There are few lines in which White can come right out of the opening with an edge in the Tango (I prefer to call it Mexican defense!). Maybe a small edge, but that can actually be said for White in almost any opening. Anyway Nf3 is definitely a good line for White.

I like Richard Palliser's introduction on the Tango where he says "Black is playing a turbo-charged King's Indian, where the black knight is already in g6". Cool

This is the line I hate the most with the Black pieces:

Do you know the history of its name? Why Tango?

I like this defense because it often transposes to many of the positions in the Lithuanian Defense. It also has many sharp counterattacks against 3.d5.

This opening is also known as the Mexican Defense, so maybe that his some historical meaning behind the name, Damian.
