Tell you what ... I challenge dalephilly to a snail mail game. I use A6
Points vs Position
In my humble opinion, playing bad moves/ one-move traps just because your opponent is low on time or it's blitz is nothing short of really bad manners.
Cmon dalephilly! Accept the challenge! After all this posts in this topic you can't decline man
. I would love to see it.

Dude blitz is all about time and strategy. If you can slow your opponent down more power to you. It's not bad manners its Time Based Strategy. One reason why someone plays blitz is to catch your opponent off guard.

12 moves in ... I feel I'm in a positional advantage and he feels that he is. When he comes back tomorrow or when ever we will continue this dispute. I for one am enjoying how this game is evolving. Cheerio!
This is really interesting now. ChessMobb in breakneck attack mode
, dalephilly tryingnto resist irresistible Turtle.

lol "irresistable Turtle"
Was fun thanks for the game :)
You won but not convienced I lost because of A6. Will continue to to work on endgame. Soon I will get my endgame down ... and we play again. again GG
dalephilly I don't know why u let him destroy your king position with a single pawn, apart from that well played terrible mistakes on chessmobb side though.
7.a3? - I don't know what was the point of this. 7.a4 or 7.h4(if you want to stop his advancing pawn) or even 7.Be3 (continuing development) was better. Anyway my point is that even with imperfect play dalephilly was able to win quiet easily (with a big help of ChessMob). I'm looking foward to your analysis.
i play bullet games better than this
Yea we all know that, but this guys are several hundred points below you so go easy on them.
What program are you using to make analysis? I'm such a noob i didn't even know that computer can make analysis for you...
i play bullet games better than this
so do i if i dont premove too much like i usually do
I always lose a queen after early Bg5 because I premove.
ChessMobb, you mentioned that you play this opening because you like to let your opponent build up a big centre which you can then attack and try to bring down.
There are several well-respected openings which are based on this strategy. Take a look at, for example, the Gruenfeld Defence, the King's Indian, and the Classical French.
It's quite possible to play the opening the way you want to play it, without resorting to a made-up system which just gives your opponent a huge objective advantage.
Hope this helps.
Yea but when I play bullet I tend to premove first 10 moves to save some time. So sometimes I'm without a queen because of that but with 6-7 seconds in hand which in bullet sometimes is worth more then a queen. Anyway that's not the topic here ...
I would prefer pushin 'h' pawn earlier because his King's side was so undeveloped that he couldn't pose a threat at all after that so u could attack his queenside without interruptions.
h4 completely blocks his efforts on king's side, a4 starts an attack on queenside(no need to wait for him to castle) Be3 continues your development while a3 seems to be weak. Anyway i didn't put much tie in analysing this game and now I am just giving you general ideas from my memory. The point of this topic was to try and convince ChessMobb to give up strange opening ideas if he seriously thinks about improving. I'd like to see his opinion now(probably didn't change
).
