1. Caro kann!!! I love playing every variation of this thing, especially against the mainline. Tell me, how is white going to break through this impenetrable fortress? I can't get over the fact I used to play 1. ... e5 instead of this beauty!
2. Slav! This one is a very recent add to my repertoire, and I gotta say, I really like the concepts! It even has an anti london with 1. d4 c6 2. Bf4 Qb6. Love it!
3. Italian game. Used to be my number 1, but I am starting to get bored of it. Center attack is just eh, and the fried liver is ONLY fun because I get an ABSURD amount of wins with it. The moment fried liver stops working at those higher levels (or in other words, when I start getting hit with 5. ... Na5 at around ~1000) Im likely ditching it.
4. London system. My first opening ever. Just so amazing from beginner to master level, and I probably will return to it once fried liver stops working.
5. French defense. This is what I used to play instead of 1. ... e5 until I picked up the caro. If I could play anything against e4 aside from caro, it would be this, or maybe scandi. Would be higher, but london is so good and fried liver is SO powerful at my level.
