Have you checked this one mate? http://www.amazon.co.uk/Play-Queens-Gambit-Chris-Ward-ebook/dp/B007ACU2XQ/ref=sr_1_7?ie=UTF8&qid=1420511914&sr=8-7&keywords=queens+gambit
Queens Gambit learning question
I can give you some advice, when you pull out that queen's gambit, I'm gonna decline the hell out it, with book moves, cause I LOATH that opening. haha :-P
Ignore "Dr Spudnik", he is a known troll. The book he's posted is obviously a defence, it's not the queen's gambit.
Huh?
The book is by Sadler and is an excellent introduction to the basic ideas for both sides. It's in a question and answer format. Yes, he does focus on a couple specific lines for Black, but it serves as a nice intro for anyone.
There are excellent intros that focuses more on white's lines. One is by Schandorff and is easy to find.
This copy of Chris Ward's book is also available as a CD version that you can load and play through interactively on Fritz.
... For now, I just want to be able to beat average players using this opening. ...
Just learn the basic ideas of the opening and your most seen variations. Most of my OTB games with the Queen's Gambit are out of book by move 6 or 7 at the latest.
You probably aren't losing most of your games in the opening now based on opening problems anyway. Most are probably lost to later tactical or stategic errors.

Hi all. I'm a low level player who enjoys the queens gambit. I recently picked up a book about this opening to learn more and improve my game. However, the book is far too hard for me as it's aimed at grandmaster level. This means when it talks about lines it assumes I already have prior knowledge of the basics.
Can anyone reccomend a book or website or youtube video which can extensively go through all the basic queens gambit openings? For now, I just want to be able to beat average players using this opening. When my rating is higher I can come back to the book I already have and learn the advanced techniques.
Thanks
