Hey thanks for the info. I will checks those out and hopefully come to learn more about the Queen's Gambit.
Check out the Alekhine-Capablanca title match, in addition Marshall played some excellant attacking games with the Queens Gambit.
Boy678,
Queen's Gambit: 1. d4 d5 2. c4
QG Accepted (QGA): 1. d4 d5 2. c4 dc
QG Declined (QGD): 1. d4 d5 2. c4 e6
And we'll not go into the subvariations of these or things like the Slav/SemiSlav, Marshall, etc to keep this focused.
I learned the basics of the Queen's Gambit a while back. Since then I have forgotten the main principles of this opening. I have decided to pick up and become more knowledgable in this opening. If anyone has any suggestions on books or games to study, I am open to any help.
