Queen's opening with early Qd3

Hi,

I have had a game with an 2200 rated FM lately which I was interested in analysing a little bit more. I ended up losing the game but I came to interesting ideas with a Queen's opening with early Qd3 for white. The move may sound contraversial as I want to move the Q out as soon as possible. Usually the idea is to try to attack at the king side or to castel in the queen's side or simply to play something different than the usual book Queen's opening. Here I share you our game.

Any suggestion on this kind of opening? I talked with my opponent after the game and he told me that the opening was pretty unusual (I just didnt want to start with Grünfeld or any other known Q opening, and this was just a club championship and in this championship I wanted to do a lot of experiment in openings as the games don't affect my rating as well). The old people in my club scolded me hardly for play this kind of opening against a national master while my opponent and I found it in general an interesting idea. I have played this opening with players between 1900 and 2000 but not enough to bring out a statistic. Does anyone have any form of experience on this?

Afraid I don't much see the point of the move.

1. Black has already equalized, at least, by move 6.

2. White is in mild trouble after 7.0-0-0?! Ng4.

3. White is a pawn down with the worse position after 8.Ne4? Bb6 (8...Nd7 was probably even better).

Do all these make 3.Qd3 an interesting move? I highly doubt it.

If you want to bring the Queen out early, I'd recommend the Parham.
