Question regarding Sicilian Defense 3. Bc4 - Chess Forums

I've been using this opening with the dragon variations for around half a month now. And I felt not so comfortable when my opponents played 3. Bc4, aiming for the weak f7 pawn. I often reacted with advance my e pawn to e6. But then, i wasted first 3 moves for the pawns and thus the opening is slow. That's the reason why i had to suffer from heavy attacks later on.

So, what's the best ideas for black when the Bishop flies out early to c4 (or b5)?

push your Q side pawns, to launch an king hunt. dont play e6.

1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 d6 3 Bc4 e6 you are doing fine.

1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 d6 3 Bb5 is check and you could block with 3...Bd7.
