Sh*t the bed man!  Has he been on about this opening for 6 months.

He closed...... got it closed when he admit he used unfair tactics to win games. I think it was his way of ending the arguement. Maybe after 6 months he had it. So if he got himself banned then in his eyes he did not lose the arguenement and it was still in progress. He found his out.

I went back and checked just as he made the comment that got him removed. I was shocked, it was 6 months and 1 week  long. I thought it was only going on for 2-3 months.

Now that i think about it all he had to do was create a Vote Chess league where the games were Thematic and used his Opening. It would have caught on easy. They play every opening so his would have been something new to try. They might not have liked his opening but in a Thematic game they would jump on it. Just not sure how popular it would be here. I say he could have gotten a 10 team league easy.

He did prove that it was playable in blitz.....??? I read the first 20 pages. And if he came it from the view that he lost the advantage and White was now Black and Black now as White. And then white tries to regain tempo/intiative half of his battles would have gone. Categorized his opening as Unorthodox. Added variations of it. As no 1 line is playable against all defenses. This last one is a big one. As any opening that is worth playing has variations.

Yeah that i was angry about with him. He ran out of new material because he was not working on it. Another is if i was new to chess it would not be playable.

Now it could have been used as teaching tool for a player that has learned the basics. What move white should make next and what are the weak areas in whites game? He never went in that direction.

Chess is fun, that is why most players play the game. He should have brought the fun aspect of using it to the table. Find ways to make it fun using it.

Yeah it was the one where he advanced the rook pawn. For a oppenent that has seen this for the first it would make them pause. Even more so if the person using it has a good rank.

I wanted to see how well it good work against a King side fian castled postion. It look like it would take the option to play the KID for black right off the table. For that alone many players hate the KID.

Well if had a chance he really hurt it now. It would months for those that objected to it to allow it to get some chance to use it in any way. They would scream bloody murder if they still were hearing about it and he was gone. It would be like the Wild Wild West and they shoot that thing up and leave it looking like it was Swiss Cheese or something.

It would be awesome to use in a Thematic tournament here. As they already believe black has the advantage early. More than likely the players that win on white using it will be the advancing to the next round. And make it to the final round. All the trophy hounds will come out for that one. They would want to add it to their collect of types of tournament they won.

What ECO would it have? I figure it might start with a D or E.

Think they might have to start with a new letter...... F. F00 - F10. Now that i think about how do they determine how long should the 1st and 2nd variation should be. I have the difference between some just one move each. The could have condensed them into one.

Their is a Team Match using some of those ideas.

May want it to go away but it will not happen. It already recieved too much attention. Already seen players use variations of it.

Lets try to forget about it and get on with our lives.

Not when several players are already using variations of it. Some before he mentioned it. And now a Team Match has a Thematic game based on his idea. I told everybody it would not go away.

Players are going to try to figure a way to change it and use it. Sure it will show up in Blitz and Bullet during the summer also.

He admitted to using unfair tactics and said he did not care if they removed him. And maybe one of these players that are using a variation of it know him or one of them is him.

All he had to do was stop with the arguements and produce more results. His #1 goal should have been to make it fun. That is where he went wrong. People on this site will play any opening if given the chance and it seems like it might be fun to use.
