I play the dragon all the time as black...castling queen side and marching pawns on the king side is really tough to deal with if done right
Repetoire against Scillian
Shobbin If you dont want to memorize much theory play the rossolimo or the alapin with c3
Thanks but what if black plays 2.Nf6. Is white still good
After 1 e4 c5 2 c3 Nf6, White's position is probably not as good as it would have been after 2 Nf3, but many many players have judged it to be good enough for them. 2 ... Nf6 is one of the standard Black moves after 1 e4 c5 2 c3 and I would guess that any c3 Sicilian book would offer advice on how to react to it. See, for example, Starting Out: The c3 Sicilian by John Emms (2008)

or The Complete c3 Sicilian by Evgeny Sveshnikov (2010).

I think one starts with 3 e5.
I used to play the Vienna a lot, so I am working to meet the sicilian with lines that include f4 at some point.
But how do you face the Dragon?
Perhaps there is something helpful in Starting Out: Sicilian Grand Prix Attack by Gawain Jones (2008)
