Is there such an opening that is officially recognised for Black? Anyway, what do you guys think of it as a defence to d4?

Thanks.

It is not called a Reversed Colle, it is a Triangle System or Slav.

Looks solid, White has many possible ways of setting up his pieces, even with that it looks like common sense should be able to give you a relatively good position.

Thanks. Good for Black you mean? Or White?

Common sense is something I currently lack in chess happy.png

White seems to have a little edge, nothing to worry you, if you know how to play in the center you should be OK.

Everyone has common sense in chess, some stop to think, others dont.

Thanks guys, these things are good to know

Just curious: haven't most (nearly all?) openings been deeply analysed by now? Why are some less analysed than others?

Actually this is one of the best ways to play against 1.d4, which is very good news.

The good news end here: The system is excaustively analysed, it can get extremely sharp, and some lines go over move 25 (or more). Frequently a small mistake can become fatal.

Wait wut?

Can you show us the sharp lines?

All I saw on the database was b3-Bb2 approaches which do not look dangerous for Black, and e3-Bd3-Nbd2-e4 setups which also do not look sharp.

Maybe Im just blind.
