I use this opening often it has worked well in the games ive utilized it in.

Bobby Fischer considered 1.e4 "Best by test", so it's no wonder my database only contains two games where he began with 1.d4 and this isn't one of them.
In the above game, 5.Nbd2 is an odd choice, inviting 5...c4. Usually, White plays 5.c3 or 5.b3 to preserve the light-squared bishop on the b1-h7 diagonal.
Also, 11...cxd4 seems to stop White's attack in its tracks.
Fischer opens with d4 on ROUND 2 of the world chess championship. Yes seems like it could be fischer.
Didn't Fischer forfeit round 2? That was the one he didn't turn up to because his shoes were on the wrong feet.
