ruy lopez exchange

Black should play Qg5 regaining the pawn.
Usually black captures the bishop with dc rather than bc. You could do worse than get "My 60 Memorable Games" by Fischer as he gives a couple of Ruy exchange games and is credited with reintroducing it into modern play.
Hi yup790--5. Nxe5 is a ?! that gives away white's advantage; you should back it up a move and play 5. 0-0 instead. Also assume 4...dxc6, which is far more popular than 4...bxc6. At that point the game is dynamically inequal; you have a superior pawn structure against your opponent's bishop pair. So to make a long story short, don't get mated in the middlegame. Trade queens as soon as possible, then try to eliminate other pieces without repairing black's doubled c-pawns. Most Exchange Ruy endgames are won for white because you can create an extra passed pawn in the center or the kingside, while black is unable to do the same. So a quick d4 will open up the middle and help you with reaching the endgame faster.
