Only 100 points less! Play people who are at least 300 points higher.
The reward when you win is better.
Ignore the older and possibly worse chess player! Remember that chess is supposed to be fun.

well as you all see ( worth and worth nots) , i dealt with the situation though there was no good solution cause i was black and he put the queen on f3 .
I have lost against the schollar mate many times, I am not suprised some try from time to time. Remember there was a girl who lost against the fools mate in the olympics. You just dont look for a fatal mate after two/three moves, you are still bussy developing.
Try changing your whole mood when people try scholar's mate on you. Look at it as more fun to play against instead of an insult;)
well it would be if not that he played queen f3 , not fun at all

wouldent Nf6 been better?

Either 3. ... e6 or 3. ... Ne5 (forking Q and B) would have been reasonable ways to meet White premature attack.

No, because then comes e5.
And the knight can't move.

4. ... Nxe5
Though 3.. Ne5 looks a little stronger to me, giving black the bishop pair. Obviously, 3.. Nf6 is strongest if white was forced to 4. e5?
This should cheer you up, Fady: not exactly Scholar's mate, but Anand loses a knight for no compensation on move 6 and resigns. And I'm sure he didn't write to the forums about it ;)

Even if Zapata never wins another chess game for the rest of his life, he'll still be pretty happy...
well for those who came to exchange words , first of all this place is not for you and i dont wont to curse though i am from a rough country , second of all i parreyed the mate but it made me furious cause the man thought i was stupid just cause i was younger and a 100 rating points less
if you are to judge posts by their title then dont bother comming
Got it now...I see how it works. Its ok for you to be judgmental, and assume your opponent is in your own words "now other than being a sign of disrespect , even if i am i younger player , he clearly insults my inteligence and he oly noted wow after i told him i know what is going on"
But no one else can comment on how youre acting?
