That book is also on the Slav, not the Semi-Slav.
Maybe Vigorito's Play the Semi-Slav? It's from 2008 and there is newer theory (Dreev's book on the Meran and anti-Meran for instance, and there will be a book by Everyman on the Bg5 lines very soon) but how much overkill do you want?
I'm rated about 2000 FIDE, I tried to go for the Semi-Slav for years and years and almost never got into a main line. People play sidelines.

Which sort of sidelines ?
@kikvors, I have the books by Vigorito and Dreev and I don't like them.
The book I like is by Vera.
@SQUEAKERISCHESSKING, Is the book by Vera advanced enough for you?

Volume two is 100% semi-Slav.
If all you want is advanced new theory, join up at chesspub for the appropriate section.
I would love to learn the Semi-Slav for black. I was wondering if anyone could recommend an advanced book. I want to know everything about it.Since I am class A and want to improve at chess. So I need a detailed advanced book with new theory.
