It's interesting

But I meant opening traps like the legal mate and such

chamo2074

But thanks for sharing anyway

@chamo2074 do you still want two more traps? Or should I ask others to name a random number between 1 and 1188?

It is called "The Bitterest Pill", it follows in a Schlechter opening, a sort of hybrid between a Slav and a Grunfeld:

Not the most spectacular or common one but it passes the test.

here's one:

It's a trap from the french, basically, in the advance variation, black tries to attack the d-pawn with c5, Nc6, and Qb6. You can block your queen's defense of the pawn with Bd3, and if pieces start taking, you will lure your opponent's queen to the d-file, where nothing is guarding his queen. Bb5+ is a discovery, winning the black queen.

dude, about the  schlecter trap, the queen can just take the knight.

It's a shame that you can't edit an analysis interface.

Sometimes on topics I'm very passionate about my brain thinks too fast and jumps to the conclusion way too soon. You should see me rant about darts.

chamo2074

I get what you mean but I am pretty sure you can edit

Not the interface, as far as I'm aware. You'd have to delete the entire thing and do it all over again.

Don't know what you're talking about you could just copy the PGN and add whatever you want. Maybe you mean that you can't add moves in which case you could add annotation to explain what happens verbally

I meant that I don't think you can edit a chess board's analysis in a forum post after you made it. You either delete it and write it again or you don't edit at all.

You can select it and click on the diagram button
