Sicilian Defence, Dragon Variation
Sicilian Defence I luv. if u dont have a good or strong endgame don't and i repeat don't try this defense u will lose alot of games. I luv the scheveningen variation...watch out for the keres attack it is white's most aggressive way to meet the scheveningen
Would you like to post your game that you lost? We might be able to give some analysis then. The Dragon Variation has a lot of twists and turns, so you can't just generalize on it at all.

I'm sorry I never realised but I heard this or the dragon is a good defense and I need one so if you have ideas they would be useful.
THANKS

For Black:
On move 13 stronger was d5
followed by 14. .. Ba6
34. .. Ke3 was winning on the spot
For White:
12. Qe2 followed by devastating attack in the center

In third move d4 was not the gud move,d3 or nc3 would have been better....never leave ur pawn attended...and exchanging the pawn is not a gud option...better make ur strategy in such a way that opponent should b unable 2 enter ur area...u can see one of my match in my profile...i luv sicilian defence...
It seems to me that after you fianchettoed your bishop to g7, white was pretty unwise to castle on the queen side on move 10. I think, instead I would have forced a bishop trade by moving my bishop to h6. Then, after getting rid of that bishop, I might castled and focused on trapping your king in the corner.
What do you think?
Do you think there was a need for you to castle so early in the game? I'm wondering if it would have been wiser for you defensively if you would have held off for a while, and perhaps instead of castling on move 7, moving your pawn to h5 or your other pawn to a6 to prevent white from checking you with his bishop? By moving your pawn to h5 without castling, it seems like you can prevent what I would have tried to force: A bishop trade. In the meantime, you can proceed with your attack plan and force white to go for your king in the center of the board, and then castle maybe 5-10 moves later - throwing off his game plan entirely.
But perhaps, I'm missing a lot of crucial details.
This is a defense I lost to in a game against a strong opponent. It's a black defense which seems useful but I'm not sure of all the different combinations to try. If you have any examples or tips on daigrams that would be useful as I have a tourney coming up. Thanks!
