I personally play the Slav (2. ... c6) rather than the Queen's Gambit Declined (2. ... e6) because it doesn't block my white bishop and thus keeps more options open.

But ..c6 blocks your dark squared bishop..
Hi guys.May i asked that how is 2..c6 better than 2..e6 for black after 1.d4 d5 2.c4...I am asking this as i have noticed that more and more grandmasters have chosen to play 2..c6 rather than 2..e6.Thanks in advance
