suggestions for opening books

Who needs books with lousy toothless GM lines for playing other GMs and that ignore real world amateur lines you'll regularly face?, like my USELESS orange scandinavian book which just gave USELESS 3.Bf5 or 3.c5 suggestions against 2.e5 in the scandinavian which STILL drives me nuts preventing ESSENTIAL LIFE BLOOD ...Nf6 with a snarky "and black has nothing to worry about" comment with NO THEORY.

I suggest creating YOUR OWN theory from an amateur database, at another site, where YOU can choose whatever variations suit your style by simply cheating off EVERYONE's homework and track them down like dogs in the street following their losses.

Stalefish, like SOME GMs, im sure often recommends lines that will get you into trouble quick following concepts that are over regular players heads with plans 10 moves in you'll never get to where MANY -5 lines actually have the best stats.

Filter your search within your rating range for optimum results. THATs how if finally learned sicilian advance theory to at least have something of an idea how to not get crushed by 2...e5.

ESPECIALLY as a gambiteer, THAT's how i find lines that work FOR ME, like the alapin diemer french which i studied because it is similar to BDG. It's the ONLY line i've ever gotten to my current 45:48 stats with AND it's concepts are CRUSHING to carokanns i found out BY ACCIDENT.

GMs hate gambits the way i hate stat ignoring GM parrots.

I'm creating a VICIOUS anti kings gambit repertoire in the falkbeer counter gambit for which there is ZERO theory i could find from black's perspective and that has MASSIVE winning stats from just move 3 with more than a dozen mates under 15 in THE MAIN LINE.

I like youtube channels too. Igor at chess academy turned me onto the objectively dubious, but NOT in the real world (!!!) englund gambit hartlaub charlick variation which is EXACTLY the open center highly mobile tactics based reply to 1.d4 i've begged and begged for for DECADES of hating the stonewall straight jacket and mother eff fianchettos! They ARENT the ONLY way to get tactical against play it safe pawn pushers! It's DELICIOUS turning the tables on pawn pushers and crushing them on my tactical turf and TRIGGERING parrots over it here. HAHAHAHAHAHA

The same concept can work with positional systems too if only following the lines that look good to you as those tend to go 50:50 well into the middle game where gambits get results quickly, and show you where trapville is with a big neon sign pointing to 60:40, or better results, like the zeller ice queen variation in the BDG i shared theory for here because it's really hard for black to see the correct Nc6 reply, so the line has something like 75% results starting from move 3 if you follow the trail of bodies.

I don't plan to EVER waste money on TOOTHLESS PAWN PUSHING GM recommendations ever again

sound (IRONIC as the lines are QUIET!!!) lines are SUICIDE for this positionally challenged attacker. That's why hypermoderns drag my rating down whereas all of my winning (and no longer LOSING to the french) stats are in gambits. Well, I actually have winning stats in the scandinavian, but there aren't any tactical motifs in it, and both 2.e5 and 3.d4 drive me nuts.
