Thar Gambit (a new opening for those who develop in the start)

I was looking for some good opening but I couldn't find that matches my style so i invented one. I play balanced and attacking and only defend in bad position. Tortoise opening is very similar to the Thar Gambit but this is different. 1. e4 e5 2. Bd3 (bishop developed) 3. c4 (space grab) 4. Nf3 (knight out) 5. Nc3 (second knight out) 6. Be2 (bishop moved to open d3) 7. d3 (center support + bishop opens) 8. O-O (king castled, rook activated) try this out and rate it https://www.chess.com/game/computer/337076848

I just said that because it was my opinion you know.

Not a gambit
sanjilajmera191211

i know it is not recognised but it is a gambit for me and must be a gambit to every guy who like it and used it in real game

Gambit means sacrificing material
SacrifycedStoat
Seems like a solid opening.
The opponent could always play moves that prevent that, but it does give you a good setup if they don’t
SacrifycedStoat
Also, gambit means it sacrifices material for a better position if they accept.

Opening this topic was absolutely necessary, the former six topics about the same subject were not enough.

The opening is still bad though. And clearly not a gambit.

It's Thar System not gambit

Awesomedude2053

It's not a great opening. The light square bishop is trapped by the e4 and c4 pawns, and there is no point of the bishop going to d3 if you're going to move it back.

it has it gaurds the e4 pawn in the start

I saw that, but not yesterday. My bad.
