The English Opening, Botvinnik. Aims,Ideas,Plans for white

Hi all, looking at adding the English to my openings and looking at the Botvinnik system of play, it appears easy to learn.
From this position what are whites aims/plans for the middle game, where to attack. I understand that black has many responses to this setup, any ideas will be appreciated.
