1.e4 d5 2.exd5 Nf6

 

So starts the Modern Scandinavian.From the beginning Black took control over some central squares and targets Whites d5 pawn.Whites most played 3rd move is:

 

3.Bb5+!

 

3. ... c6? is silly,3. ... Nd7 gives White comfortable game so 3. ... Bd7 it has to be.

Now:

 

 

4.Be2

 

or

 

4.Bc4

 

 

Then the dynamic strategical and tactical struggle starts and Black can equalize playing natural moves!!!

 

What do you think about this line of Scandinavian?

Clearly you meant 3. Bb5+.

It leads to an even game. Neither side has gained any sort of advantage.

Yes, I agree Lord, all 3. Bb5+ should do is lead to equality. 3... Bd7 4. Bc4 is standard, but according to Wikipedia: "The less common 3... Nbd7 has been gaining some attention recently.".
