The Most Annoying Opening Ever

For weirdness against which most opponents playing White are ill-prepared, have a look at 5..., Bd6. It's called the Stone-Ware Defence. Probably unsound but gets White out of the standard Evans Gambit comfort zone.

White is playing the Evan’s Gambit.
Accepting the Gambit is considered Best for Black, but you have to be very careful or you can end up in big trouble.
If you want a safer approach, You could try playing the Decline version of the Evan’s Gambit.
The normal way to Decline the Evan’s Gambit is by playing Bb6.
Afterwards, White most logical continuation is to transpose the line into the Birds Attack variation.
The same position can be reached the below way through the main line move order.

I use to play the Evan’s Gambit and so if your opponent declines the Gambit. You need a fall back line and the Birds Attack pairs up nicely with the Evan’s Gambit.
Black position is pretty normal looking and it doesn’t have to worry about getting crushed.
It’s a very normal way to play.
Obviously, there are other lines you could play if you don’t want to be normal.
However, you would have to ask other players about those lines.
I don’t play the Black side of these positions.

bb6 then white castles and b5 and takes e5 pawn. bb5 is still just disadvantages for black. too much pressure

If White Castles, Black can just play d6.
There is no way to take on e5 because it defended by the d6 pawn.

@russell1013 re #3 and #4 and #5: Black need to be prepared to play sharply, be ready to play O-O before White can get both Bish and Knight hitting f7, and sometimes be prepared to sac a piece for pawns if White gets in playing f4 overloading the defence of the Pe5. But it can be fun seeing White not having the standard position-types he/she is used to (for example, the Bc1 isn't going to go to a3 to intensify an attack). Black usually ends up playing ...,Nf6 and ..., O-O and maybe ..., Qe7 and likely ..., b6 and ..., Bb7 to get developed and then unwind "however" based on what White has done. I emphasise it's not a main-line GM-style approach and might get refuted (I've not seen a refutation but am very out of touch)

off topic but the last time i faced the evans gambit was a month ago and now im tryna find out how to counter the vienna/kings gambit as black

Be careful not to think that they are just about the same - the openness of the positions makes small differences tactically important. I used to play the Vienna, 1. e4 e5 2. Nc3 Nf6 3. f4 because people would play their favorite King's Gambit defense against it, exf4 or Bf8c5, and both are bad. (Both because the Nf6 can get hit by a white pawn on e5) The best against this Vienna is d7d5, which is probably the 3rd most popular answer to the K's Gambit, but as I played more expeirienced opponents, most knew how to avoid this cheap trick.

Against the King Gambit
I play the Fischer Defense with a twist.
The below move order is the Fischer Defense.
I play the line a little different.
It sort of sets up a trap!
This is how I like to play it.
When you play d6 on move 2, It sometimes confuses people.
The move d6 makes it look as if Black is scared White will trade off the e5 pawn.
Sometimes, people will do the following:
They “see” you playing d6 to defend e5 so they sometimes take on e5 expecting that you will recapture with your d6 pawn, but it is all a trick!
Because if they take on e5 - They immediately lose due to Queen Check line lol.
I have won about a 1,000 games by doing that above trap.
Obviously, not everyone will fall for it, It’s okay if they don’t fall for it because your playing the Fischer line which is very solid. Bobby Fischer even said that it refutes the Kings Gambit.
So if you need a line - I would check out the Fischer Defense line.

Against the Vienna - I don’t have great line against it
A lot of players play a Reversed Italian Game or Reversed Ruy Lopez.
I haven’t faced the Vienna a lot to be honest so I am still figuring out a line as well.

White is playing the Evan’s Gambit.

Please tell me that "Evan's gambit" is a typo.
Although it would be a weak claim given that you did it 3 times in a row.

I just realised the op @russel1013 is 2200… the question and the phrasing of it oddly made me assume he was a complete beginner. In my defense what 2200 has no idea of the name or any lines against a gambit as common as the evans? I tailored the annotations for a beginner too 💀

magipi, your head would explode if you saw the sign that will soon be going up next to the road on my drive home: <Order your Easter Ham's now!> Every year I'm tempted to vandalize it by painting over the apstrophe, white lettering on a red background...

2200 bullet, so basically the same as a beginner...
Anyways in all seriousness, why is a 2200 not able to find a good line against the evans? Like, just memorize moves 💀💀 the requirement came free with your choosing-to-play-1...e5, anyways.
