This Tricky Little Dragon Move
To me, the h-File Rook is not really important in the Opening, so white sac the Rook. But the knight was terrible so why? No Good.
As a dragon player, I think that black can defend against this exchange sac when it is this early - however it can be worrying if it is played later on at a critical moment - which is why i play h5 in reply to h4.
What can white do in this position? White does not have enough pieces on the king side to attack the black king.
Black can play Qa5 to defend the h-pawn and attack the white king at the same time.
Immediately, but long term you don't want a queen defending a pawn.
White is supposed to play 15. g4. 15. Rxh5 doesn't seem to be correct, but that does not mean that it isn't tricky.
I am not sure if h-pawn is even worth defending since it is a weak pawn. Even if black loses the h-pawn, black is still winning.
Yeah, maybe white has some play down the h file in that case though. But nothing really he doesn't have after g4.
I'm not suggesting it as an alternative. Jeez. I play the Dragon as Black, and everytime I've faced this I've won with it, though it's often been tricky to defend OTB. It's possible, too, that it just threw me off and in a situation like that I got shaken and played too cautiously. I was just curious as to whether anybody had ever come across it before.
i only got it played against me once and i crushed the guy and it was live blitz never got played against this in otb all my opponent play a good move called g4 which lead to fun positions :D
I've come across g4 once or twice as well ;). I either play 11. ... Nxd4 followed by b5 or 10. Rb8 now, though.
I am *NOT* saying that Rxh5 is a good move! I'm just saying I've seen it a few times.
Also, yeah, who plays Bxh6 there?

Does tricky imply good? it does to me cause I would love to trick my opponent
It's not meant to. Quirky, interesting. Good is not supposed to be implicit anywhere in there. My bad.
After Bh6 DONT PLAY BXH6
Nxe4! Qe3 Rxc3! is approximately equals
You mean the moves that get black mated quickly aren't the best?!
