#18~20 kindaspongey, Thank you for the quotes. Basically I listen to strong players' words. That's why I ordered recommended books, began watching recommended videos, joined an invited club. But since I will be 63 soon, my declining limited intelligence prevents me from getting stronger like kids. I know much progress is not expected. I just keep enjoying the process, and see if how much I can go up or at least stop going down.
#16 FishEyedFools, thanks for the tips, all of which are amazingly similar to the tips of shogi and go, both of which I am an amteur dan player. (shogi 1d, go 7d of in Japan, on the net much lower though ) I almost always keep them in my mind. Yet, I have a penchant for memorizing words or names. It may be futile, Shakespeare wrote, what's in a name? That which we call a rose, by any other mame would smell as sweet.
