okay ghoul. Black mentains Full flexibility, while White has committed his "private Brian" to e5, and now Black can toy with it at leisure. that's as deep as I see it. of course, as the GM said, Black can at some point play Nf3. While in the regular 1.e4, Nf6 opening, the horse is on b6 - not guarding the king.
