@MrIndia - if Team Sicilian has extra players (and we can wait until they do), you can ask the team captain to hold you out of the first match. Your call entirely, if you still want to play.
I think we're still short one Sicilian, with the recent withdrawal. Looks like Team e5 is set. Almost there!
@little_guinea_pig - no worries. I posted the link to this thread on the "French vs Sicilian" board, but it was probably easy to miss it.

Since team CK is now full, the minor openings are off the table. OK for @Lord_Ultron to sign back up. @adrian_mclain can join team e5, if he wishes.
@roughraf - you are correct, the sicilian and e5 are the most common replies to 1. e4, but the Caro-Kann has a very devoted following, particularly at the mid-amateur level. Team French has been around a while, so that's why we filled up quickly.
@ricorat - Once all teams are full, I'll create a new forum thread for each team (I'll post the links here), where your members will select its Team Captain. Once this is done, I'll create threads for each match, the respective team captains will announce their team rosters for that match (from Board 1 to Board 7), I'll set the match scoreboard, and the teams can begin play.
