Uncommon Sicilian Variation

I recently played against this variation as white.  After the game, I looked it up in the database on chessgames.com and found that out of 83 games, 30 were wins for white, and 29 were wins for black, with the most common variation being Nb3.  I would be grateful if anyone could talk about their experience with this variation or discuss the ideas behind it.

In my own actual games as Black, I have played the move order 1 e4 c5 2 Nf3 e6 3 d4 cd4 4 Nd4 Qb6 5 Nc3 Bc5.

This variation has been referred to as "Sicilian for the Lazy" meaning for people who do not want to study deep theory.  However, even this opening has a mass of theory to research.  The diagram shows the mainline.  The idea for black is to use ...Bc5 and ...Qb6 to pressure Nd4 and f2.  My experience with this (again, as Black) is that it is not as strong as normal Sicilians.

A guy played that long ago against me in a rapid game where I played Nc3 and he followed it with Qf6 which is just refuted.

Rob cat makes an interesting point, I think the dark square bishop is misplaced there.

Here is what I found with a quick analysis.
