game explorer is good for analyzing your openings. after that, it's not great obviously. i have used games explorer on occasion to look over my opening in a live game just to see where i made a mistake (obviously after the game has been finished).
other than just opening both your game and explorer in separate windows, there's not really much else you can do.
as a beginner, games explorer is great. it really helped me with my openings, and it can gave you good ideas where to take your middle games to.
<Thanks for the reply artfizz. Sorry , I phrased my question poorly. I want to use Game Explorer to analyze my Live Chess Games (after the game is finished) in the same way I can use it for online games. Is there a way to do this? I play many more live games and since I am just beginning to play chess Game explorer looks like a useful tool.
