I had a few games recently in which white played 1f4 (bird's opening. I found it difficulty to come up with something and lost. So I did some looking up and think I might play From's gambit.

1f4 e5

I would recommend the Langheld-Variation of the From´s Gambit.

1d5 with the idea of 2...c5 and 3...Nc6

After 1.f4 e5 2.e4 White has transposed to the King's Gambit, which is certainly acceptable to Black, but he needs to be booked-up.

It's called From's Gambit, if your opponent doesn't know about it but you do, you can score quick wins. Look it up.

I go with a d5/Bg4/c6 setup

Definitely From's gambit. And if he transposes into the Kings Gambit then Falkbeer Counter Gambit

prefer ...d5, ...Nf6

But seriously, I've been on this site for almost 3 years and no one has played it aganist me. Is it that much of a concern?

It was played twice against me this week. Even if it's one percent of my games, I still want to be somewhat prepared for it
