Wayward Queen is TRASH!

Wayward is a fantástic opening
Congratuletion if you play it .
I play center Game Qxd4 , same Spirit , always develop Queen in the opening , BEST advise my friend
After 1 e4 e5 2. Qh5+ ..., rather than Black moving either their Q or B to e7, Black will just defend their e5 pawn by 2. ... Nc6 and if White persists with 3. Bc4 trying for Scholar's Mate, then 3. ... g6 prevents and attacks the White Queen, which is now forced to retreat. If White chooses Qf3, still trying for a quick mate on f7, then Black develops their Kingside N with Nf6, and Black is fine and even has the idea of Nd4 threating the White Queen again as well as a K&R for on c2.
I've even seen some people say they will play it as a Black Gambit, allowing White to win the e pawn, but I tend to play as above and have done well with it. Mind you, I really just play bots, so most of my games facing this are against Nelson-Bot, which pretty much falls apart at this point. In the handful of games against people I've played online, I've only faced it twice, and lost 1 on time (though was well ahead but completely forgot about the clock!), and the other was a draw, which was lucky for me as I blundered into a pawn fork and was down a piece (not a result of the opening, just my own fault for not being careful).
Anyway, I don't think it's outright losing for White, but even with best play I think White gives up too many tempo and as a result Black gets an easy equality. I think at the under 1000 level it's played more to try and score a Scholar's Mate, and if Black knows how to thwart that, White often is left with poor piece placement and ends up with the much harder game.
(Tiring because me do on mobile).
