The French is golden brown because every time someone plays 1.e4 and I reply 1...e6, they get French Fried!

Nimzowitsch Def. is a mixture of dark green, yellow and pinkish-red mostly dark green and yellow
English Def. is a mixture of dark green and yellow
Pirc is a mixture of red and dark brown with a hint of yellow and light green

Scandi is a mixture of red, dark brown and black with hints of yellow and light green
Double Kings Pawn is a mixture of light green and dark green with yellow and hints of red and dark brown
Kings Gambit is a mixture of light green with dark green and yellow with dark brown

Really? when that play Exchange var. I usually lose, I only win when it's half closed.

People with synesthesia associate things with colors, tastes, sounds, or other senses without any apparent connection. For example, seeing the number 1 as green or the subject of math as red. I notice that I associate these things similarly to chess openings. For example, the Ruy Lopez is red, the Sicilian is green, and the Caro-Kann is orange. Those are my general associations. To those who also have that sense, what colors do you associate different chess openings with?
