What do you say about this gambit line?

Since I made this, I would like to call it the Tenessee Gambit.

Would you be black or white?

ChessBoy513

Ok

If 7 nd4 then black by a couple landslides

Didn't see that.

An improvement for white on move 5.

How interesting 🙂 it does seem playable for black. I don't like White's 4. Nf3 though, as it loses white some tempo.

White has other options, like Nc4 as was already pointed out. I'm thinking white can even play a gambit herself with 4. Nxf7 Kxf7 5. Bc4+ followed by 6. Qh5. A knight for 2 pawns and Black's king trapped in the middle of the board seems exciting 😊

The opening is the Kings Knight Opening.  You did not make it.

It's called King's Knight Opening because there's no name for it.

1.e4 e5 2.Nf3 is the King's Knight Opening.

I hate to say it, but you did not make this. This gambit has already been names the Busch-Gass Gambit. 1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Bc5?!

More analysis on this interesting line that teaches a lot about opening principles.

According to Stockfish, it is nearly +2 for white in opening which is like 90% forced loss for black. Horrible, avoid!
