Can't decide on what first move to play as white?
No problem... let the wheel decide for you!

Oh, thx dear happy.png I always go with g3  Which is Hungarian opening. But I don't follow the main line. I have made my own lines😎😎 There are no proper opening names for my games. For legends it's unusual

If you play d4 your pawn already has a defender. wp.png

Ur logic is correct. You have to learn how to defend yourself and to start with g3. I mean you have to be a good defender to play that opening. Also, you have to make ways for counter attacks!!

It does not really matter. Theoretically 1 e4 and 1 d4 are the best moves.
In practice the opening does not decide games: middle game tactics decide games.

"From the outset two moves, 1.e4 or 1.d4, open up lines for the Queen and a Bishop. Therefore, theoretically one of these two moves must be the best, as no other first move accomplishes so much." - Capablanca
In practice anything goes. Fischer opened 1 b3 four times and won all four.
