I am pretty sure you don't sacrifice a minor piece in a gambit, right? And a sacrifice could be any piece, maybe even a pawn. But yes, you do sacrifice a pawn in a gambit.

Look up the Muzio Gambit in the Kings Gambit or the Halloween Gambit. White sacs the king knight in those gambits.

I guess there are some that sacrifice a minor piece. But ones that you sack a minor piece are just dumb, and most of the gambits are just sacrificing pawns.

I play the Evans Gambit OTB but never on chess.com. It's no fun if people can look up continuations and throw a book (or computer) at you.
