I really like using Accelerated Dragon
What is your favorite opening in chess? Which is also effective ;)

well lets be me to start. When i have black i like to start with caro cann. When white, with king pione and then horse f3

I play the caro, specifically the variations with Bf5 (against advance I do ...Bf5 and against mainline I play classical although the other variations also look nice.

I like playing the flank openings like the English, Dutch, and Sicilian.
sometimes for the hell of it, I like the Italian, or Ponziani opening (white) and Scandinavian (black).

Sicilian Dragon (regular), but with h7-h5 before White manages to play Bh6 (to swap the bishop). And if opponent allows, I'll play h5-h4 too - wrecking his pawn-storm. No hurry to castle. Kf8 is also a move. Now he just defends again my attack. It's my favorite that's also effective. Against e4.
Against d4, it's tricky, what's good against d4-c4 isn't so good against d4-Bf4 (=Acc. London) and vice versa. My Favorite that's also effective (I speak from exp., not from a YouTube video) is QGA against d4-c4. His pseudo attack doesn't work - you treat it like you treat an Alapin. (he plays e2-e4 then e4-e5, you just play Nd5 - the knight on f6, goes to d5)
Against d4-Bf4...effective and favorite start to become different things. Steinitz Countergambit is effective, but is boring (maybe I wasn't playing it right). And if you played 1...d5 then that's the best you have.
Against c4... For some strange reason, White mostly plays Nc3, g3, Bg2, to which I replay c5 Nf6 e6 d5, he "Has to" capture the pawn and play d4, you take and take, you get a slight edge. And if White continues with his "attacks" which are air-based, he can get punished severely.
What do I mean?
As a first move:
Favorite, and sort of effective: 1.e4 (+d4, unlike K.I.A. and all that).
If you like a slow build-up and to eventually erupt an attack, you may try a Philidor's Defense + Old Indian Defense (Old Indian Defense I didn't play with or against, I saw a Youtube) . I say Old Indian because the King's Indian has too many sidelines, isn't similar to the Philidor, and needs a move more - g6.
Against the Philidor I play Bc4 and d3, because if I'll play the main line - d4 (or the cheap gambits against it) then from a practical standpoint, I'm screwed. I wonder how many of your opponents will know to play Bc4 + d3, and even so, there's no garantee of a good attack against Black.

I prefer the Bongcloud and Sodium Attack
Sodium Attack I don't remember this opening, how it starts?
