i like how it just doesnt have a name either

That's a good point.
A lot of coaches and opening books don't want to teach about openings like 1) Nf3 because 'too much transposition' will confuse the student.
I see that as kind of ridiculous.
You play a main line book opening and your opponent transposes right out of it whether intentionally or unintentionally.
Suggestion - the student should be informed about transposition right away.
So that he/she 1) has a better overview and 2) knows better what he/she is up against and 3) can navigate better from opening to opening by having something of a chart. Instead of having to play as if he/she is a 'pioneer' of transpositions.

Wow - after d4 c6 the move f3 doesn't even exist in the opening database explorer.
The three most popular 2nd moves for white are c4 and Nf3 and e4.
And in each of those 3 cases the most popular move for black is d5.
Other than those three choices for move 2 by white ...
all other choices fall way off in frequency.

I don't think the Blackmar has been mentioned yet.
Blackmar-Diemer gambit!
Just that name connotes something Nasty.
d4 d5 e4 .... uh oh!
Black could still pour water on it with c6.
An internet opening site indicates the Blackmar is healthy for white.
And the grey zones (draws) in the middle seem to be quite Pinched.
https://www.365chess.com/opening.php?m=6&n=300&ms=d4.d5.e4.dxe4.Nc3&ns=7.8.75.132.300#search_block_opening_explorerd4 d5 e4!? dxe4 Nc3.
Is the Blackmar a 'reason' to Not respond to d4 with d5 ?
A Blackmar doesn't look likely after d4 Nf6.
Nor after d4 c6 e4 d5. That's a Caro - not a Blackmar.
Another irony about the Blackmar.
You could play tens of thousands of games that opened d4 d5 and keep responding d5 for fifty years straight and not once face a single Blackmar.
