What should I learn?

Till now I played random openings without any information about them.

I want to learn 2 openings sharp and good but not hard as the sicilian, coz im still a beginner.

as white - 1.e4 e5 king's gambit/ruy lopez/ italian game?

as black - 1.e4- frence defence/caro kann defence?

im asking only for e4 right now because this is the most common...

I would like for an advice from someone familiar with the openings/defences i mentioned up^^- THANKS!happy.png

Four Knights' Game is ideal, both for a first opening and also to play for the rest of your life if you choose to - it is easier than the other openings you mentioned on the list, while it has a greater surprise value and also avoids the Petroff Defense.

For white I would also recommend the four knights. A little surprise value but sound and short to study. When you get a little bored you can throw in the four knights scotch, and eventually move to the scotch.

For black I recommend e5 and take whatever they throw at you.
