You can play 2. Nc3, Nf3, f4, c3, d4, Ne2. Objectively Nf3 is best, but it takes more time and effort to learn. On the other hand, the other moves, while they don’t objectively give white any advantage, can be tricky weapons, especially for lower-rated players.

the best option vs the sicilian is 1.d4 (lol j/k... but only kinda)

Winning games does not come from knowing traps - it comes from studying and hard work and knowing the proper way to attack the Sicilian.

When it comes to cheap shot traps, for every one you succeed in pulling the trap on, you will get 99 that are not stupid enough to fall for it and in return for trying for the cheap shot rather than playing the right moves, you end up worse and defending for your life just trying to survive.

Also, if the trap works and you win the game, you'll learn nothing. You already KNEW the trap.

Playing for cheap tricks will stunt your development as a player.

The first thing you need to understand is that the opening had NOTHING to do with the result of the game.

The second thing is that blunders, and missed tactics decide your games.

I had bad pawns and king from the opening which cost me time trying to defend, the last blunder I had little time to think.

The engine says since move 10 I had a losing position

What engine are you using that thinks your position is losing since move 10???  Whatever engine it is, get rid of it.

Again the same point is "that Opening" was not the reason you lost the game.  You played fine for the rating, missed some opportunities and actually got out of the opening without any major mistakes.  I think it was stated best 38. b4??? with 3 question marks is the reason you "lost" the game.

I play the Sicilian as Black and also love to go against it as White.  If you play 1.e5 as White you have to understand you will play against a lot of Sicilian players.  I would suggest not playing 3. Bc4 as it is routinely crushed at the top level (according to the database, its the 7th most popular move with 28% White Win and 54% Black Win).  If you do play 3. Bc4 and you plan to castle Queenside, the Bishop will get harassed by the a and b pawns.  If you play 3. Bc4 the best idea is to castle Kingside.  Again I would stay away from 3.Bc4 and play 3.Be3 4.Qd2 5.0-0-0 and pawn storm on the Kingside.

For your game there were a couple of opening things after.  Since Black played e6 the option to play Bb4 is there and after you played 3.Be3 you probably don't want to move to play 4.Bd2 on your following move, thus the idea of Bb4.  Here a simple castle King would have been fine and the doubled pawns are not a big deal.  Playing in your style you needed to play 9.f3 (or 9.Nxc6 bxc6 10.e5) After move 10.f3 you did not have a "losing position" your position is just very passive and cramped (which is usually what happens to Black).  Your move 13.fxe4 should confuse you, why not take back with the Bishop? It keeps your Kingside pawn structure and gets your Bishop out of attack of the Knight and it puts it on a much better square.  There if you castle Queen your position is perfectly fine.  After you played 13.fxe4 you allow the 13...Nfg4.  Again it wasn't the opening which cost you the game.
