Which is better: e4 or d4?

I personally like d4 because there are less lines that black can play against. It is also incredibly versatile and the structure of d4 games are pretty similar to each other. Also, many chess grandmasters prefer d4 slightly to e4.

d4 because I love attacking kingside.There are just as many d4 lines as e4 lines but perhaps there's more similarity within d4 lines.

I like d4

It is all on the time control, if it is blitz or bullet, do e4, but if it is more a slower time control like rapid, then do d4 with more calculations and more deeper logical understanding. But it is your opinion, this is just my own opinion.

The reason it goes against all chess wisdom is that it's drawn from the lichess database. Think of all the millions of kids playing these openings and how many of the white players are ready to see 1...d5. Unfamiliar positions get terrible results.

Both are good, but it depends on which YOU are used to the most

For me, e4 is better because when I was a beginner, I trained openings for e4, as e4 is suitable for me

But if you like, you can play d4 also

The Queen's Gambit is also good

If you want to improve more generally as a chess player, play both.
