PPS. While I like the database and analysis ability in Chess King (2015 standard version $27.95 at Amazon with a free upgrade to the 2016 version), there's a lot of the same you can do with the Free Lucas Chess. Additionally, you can set up a starting position on Lucas and play against computer opponents of varying abilities - generating a variety of replies which is not doable on Chess King.

For the sake of consistency, you can go 1....Nf6 against e4 as well. The Alekhine is a respectable opening.
