I have a game against a 2400 in the Wing Gambit currently, I'll post it when I'm done. Suffice to say Black was not better out of the opening.

I think the Wing Gambit gives reasonable compensation, but the Smith Morra is probably stronger and my preference is actually the Open Sicilian.

BTW the Morra is better than the Wing for gambits, if to lazy to go look up books on the opening heres a tip go to google type in Esserman Morra.
