Wrong results

This is the second time a TD has wrote the wrong results on plycount. Is it possible for them to fix the errors and get a new updated rating from a tourney that's already ended and recorded on plycount and USCF??

Doesn't plycount just pull the data from the US Chess site? I think that is how it works and it may be a one-time process as new events get rated.

If that is the case, the original event likely had an error and plycount just replicated it. If it is correct on the US Chess site then you should contact the other site and ask them to fix or resynch.

Who do I contact? Email USCF? It says I drew an 1800 when I actually beat him in real life. Either the results were not written probably in the tourney or it was not recorded properly.

If the problem in on the US Chess site, then you need to contact the TD from the event. That is the only person that can fix problems with submitted events.

If the US Chess site is right and the PlyCount site is wrong, they you'll need to contact PlyCount directly and point them to the problem.

Also, if the results were recorded incorrectly at the site then that was the proper place to bring it up. It is the responsibility of players to make sure the results are reported correctly and to notify the TD of errors.

If the results sheet filled out after the game was wrong, the only way you are going to get it fixed is to have both you and your opponent notify the TD of the problem. The TD won't take the word of just one player after the fact.

I know the names of the TD but I can't find a way to contact them. I sent an email to the U.S. Chess Federation. Hopefully, they will fix the issue.

Thanks anyway

Yeah, US Chess will probably just tell you to contact the TDs. They might forward your e-mail but I wouldn't count on it.

Was it the Biltz event you just played this weekend? If so, the CCA has contact information on their main page.
