Okay, I completely understand why Magnus would not be interested in another easy world title and there are probably better things to do but what if the reason was something else?

Staying on top is harder than getting to the top because you are competing against the feeling you have achieved your life's goal already. Staying motivated after climbing the chess Olympus is like climbing Mount Everest a second time, or a sixth. Humans need purpose. ( kasparov).

especially for him🙂..yes you are right Carlsen is a chess genius...but I think they will play against eachother in other tournaments ..and we can see ....

Maybe he is just tired of showing his true colors he is a champion draw master.

Rapid and blitz are more fun than classical.
Tournament play is more fun than match play.
Preparing a classical match for months is tough.

Easy can mean 'he will win but doesn't care to do it again'

He may have good reasons for doing it, but it will be a blemish on his chess career that will always there.
