It's not just me. Many chess.com members won't have been online in the 15 hours that it was running.

And it would be entirely against the fine and honored tradition of this thread to do anything at all without thorough regard for the plebiscite of chess.com and the purity of a truly democratic process.

I won the contest despite playing OTB and not logging in to chess.com in the last days of April. And I didn't do any campaigning, showing off etc. It seems that many of the votes for me were from people with whom I either played vote chess together, or frim people with whom I had some interesting online chess games. So the contest surely has something to do with chess Wink

I'm far, far away from winning any "proper" contests in the chess world, so the chess.com title is all I can haveLaughing
