Chess Player of the Month August 2010

     Hi! This is proKnight98 bringing you Chess Player of the Month aka CPOTM of August. So basically you can nominate members on chess.com who you think should be Chess Player of the Month. Whether it is humor, bravery, or nice, they can be nominated. Each person can nominate up to 2 members to add on to the nominated list, and you HAVE TO SAY why. I cannot be nominated. Those who were on the nominated list those last times can be nominated again if they weren't the winner. The past winners are veggiegirlie, haddad56, deckers1066, and atudor, so they cannot be nominated again. It follows the same rules as the other Chess Player of the Month forum topics I have posted. 

     From the other forum posts of CPOTM, I realized that the things I post are hard to understand, especially during the voting periods. I'll try my best to make it clear this time. Also, I want to make it clear that there is no advertising to vote for one member for it will not be fair for the member(s) not advertised. It is now August, so get ready to nominate!

     We will be vote on the last week(s) of August, depending if we have a lot of nominated members or not. Let's go! Any questions?

 You can nominate yourself, but you would not be modest, which will not get as many votes as you might want, or in my mind might be rude.

You cannot vote for yourself.

I want to make it clear that there is NO advertising members for the rest of the CPOTM forum topics.

Nah, I've had my moment and have no wish to stand again. I made a creditable finish, that's enough.

I nominate kacparov for a number of reasons:

1. A polite young man who conducts himself in mature fashion.

2. A master who plays the riff-raff (including me).

3. His high level of involvement in the site.

4. His outstanding performances recently OTB, indicating that the FM title won't be too long coming.

I nominate pdela 

I support the nomination of kacparov, for the above reasons and - in addition - for having the just about unique ability to "play hundreds of games simultaneously" and play them well!
