We have a moose for the Mariners. I'm from Missouri, though, so I don't see the point of becoming a fan of a team as bad as the Mariners are. I like Ichiro, though.

Ah, the Mariners, the only other MLB team besides the Expos that has never played in the World Series. 
EDIT: I should add that the Expos' new personna in Washington has never approached a World Series either, but that's not really a different team, merely a reincarnation as a lower form.

I'd like to nominate the Expos mascot.
I'd like to nominate ivandh's Siamese cat. The cat has the brains and ivandh has the ability to move the chess pieces.

There were quite a few years where a mascot who looked like a large chunk falling off the top of the stadium would have been appropriate.
The Expos' mascot, Youppi, was a running joke around the rest of the league, and he was the first MLB mascot ever to get thrown out of a game. However, in the long run he had the last laugh. It took him a few years after the Expos left, but Youppi eventually (2006) got hired as the first official mascot ever for the Montreal Canadians, also becoming the first mascot ever to jump from major league baseball to the NHL.
