If I see a post I think is inane, I just don't answer it. You're the biggest self appointed moderator on this site, which gets rather old as well. Personally, I don't remember reading in the TOS that my posts or anybody else's have to live up to YOUR standards of what's acceptable. You remind me of one of those people who are so busy worrying about the splinter in somebody else's eye, you miss the log in your own.

And the occasional asinine topic isn't a problem.  It's when the site is awash with them, and all from the same individual, that we as a community have a right, no, a responsibility, to take exception.

Yes, when TheGrobe thinks something is inane, everyone else has to join him in hating that person!

You know, those are truly psychotic jumps that your little paranoid mind makes.

Good point, I was fooled there for a while.

Have you ever been the the produce department in your local supermarket and a handful of the tomatoes are spoiled?  It's OK, you can pick around them for the good ones, right?

What about a case where 90% of them are spoiled?  Kind of ruins the whole batch, doesn't it?

Cystem_Phailure

It's funny to see how quickly you (cmibu) try to dig in on the attack when you receive the slightest whiff of support.  The same thing happened in a different thread when someone took flags to task about something and you immediately tried to whip up everyone else to go after flags too.

Hah, I'm hardly a "ringleader".  You're seeing conspiracy where there's only consensus.

You've already ruined last months contest, must you also ruin this one?  This is exactly what I'm talking about.

Stop dumping your spoiled tomatoes here.

That's basically what he was saying, was it not?  You can not give a black-and-white definition on whether something is inane, but rather by opinion.  Since Thegrobe feelse that my threads are inane, he feels it is the community's responsibility to dislike me for it.

I do not make 90% percent of the threads here, much less make 90% of them "inane".

Once again, you claim an opinion as fact.  I didn't ruin last contest.

I think the problem will go away when you limit yourself to 100 posts per day for the next few months

Let's get back to topic.

"Since Thegrobe feelse that my threads are inane, he feels it is the community's responsibility to dislike me for it."

I'm pretty sure that most of us dislike you independently, no coaching or coercion required.

Only some of you.  I have more friends than enemies.

Cystem_Phailure

Incredible.  After the debacle of the last thread he starts right back in at it in this thread, all while innocently denying it, of course.  And this is the guy who thinks he's taking over CPOTM after proKnight!

I will continue CPOTM after proKnight, if I stick with the plan.

I'm saying that it should come as no surprise when they do.

Why do you think it is that it's you and not someone else?

ProKnight, can you just do us all a favour and block this clown already?

Because I am unlucky.
